Vizio agent tells me tech never closed the ticket, she can't take any action. I file a complaint in regard to technician sent to my apartment. Seems to suggest I should by from Samsung.

Even though this is the best TV and Soundbar Vizio makes, he wouldn't buy it. Tells me older models work better than newer models. Tells me Vizio cannot compete with Samsung, Sharp, or Sony. Tells me all Vizio products have problems. Vizio will send a tech to run diagnostics on tv and soundbar Problem still remains with replacement TV I post on Reddit asking for help with Vizio TV and Soundbar. Tech replaces motherboard, then confirms issue persists.

Vizio sends me a technician to install a replacement motherboard for tv told me audio delay was caused by wireless subwoofer being too far from tv. Reporting a defective sound bar, Vizio sends me replacement soundbar Told me to use PCM for surround sound soundbar. I no longer have faith in these products and Vizio cannot give me a guarantee that my issue can be resolved. I have asked for a refund on multiple occasions and Vizio continues to give me excuses of "one more thing" they have to try. Vizio is unable to give me an estimate on when this can be fixed. This issue has been ongoing for more than 2 months. I have replaced all the HDMI cables and have tried to replace my entertainment devices. They have sent two technicians to my apartment (currently waiting on a third) who are unable or unwilling to fix my issues.Īs of now, Vizio has replaced both the tv and the sound bar. Support representatives have given me unhelpful or incorrect advice and are unable to help me fix my issues. I have made numerous attempts contacting Vizio's technical and customer support.

If I connect Xbox -(hdmi)-> TV and Xbox -(optical) -> Soundbar, everything works great, no issues!īut obviously I don't want to move cables every time I switch devices. Sound either has a start delay whenever sound goes silent, or will play with a lip sync delay.Īm definitely experiencing the dropout issue if I play sound for more than an hour. Trying to connect devices (Xbox, PS4, WiiU) to TV, and then use ARC from TV to Soundbar.

I thought maybe the problem stemmed from specific channels on my cable box, but it appears that every channel has the same issue.Īs a side note, playback from the PS4 yields no noticeable audio/video delay. I'm guessing that only affects the audio playing directly from the TV speakers.

I've tried adjusting the lip sync option on my TV, but it doesn't seem to change anything. The audio plays slightly faster than the video, creating a noticeable "foreign film" style lip sync effect. The problem I'm encountering is audio/video sync during playback using the cable box. I then connected an HDMI cable from the HDMI ARC port on the soundbar to my Vizio M60-C3 television. I've connected a PS4 and my cable box (U-verse) to the soundbar. The soundbar has several HDMI ports and allows all media devices to be plugged in directly to the bar for playback. I recently purchased a JBL SB400 soundbar. Looking for any possible solution to the following problem.
